2019 GHBMC Users’ Workshop

The GHBMC Users’ Workshop is a one-day opportunity to showcase research and development efforts involving the Global Human Body Models Consortium (GHBMC) family of virtual human models.

The 2019 workshop will dovetail with the SAE WCX meeting in Detroit, Michigan. The workshop will be held on April 8, one day before the start of SAE WCX.

Topics of Interest

  • Development of metrics or risk functions for human models
  • Applying the model to research topics in sports, military, healthcare, and/or automotive applications
  • Investigation and optimization of potential safety countermeasures
  • Validation studies

PIPER is available under Open Source licenses, and additional information on the PIPER Project and Software can be found at www.piper-project.org.

Questions concerning the use of PIPER Metadata can be directed to [email protected]. The Elemance Metadata files contain data that can be used with LS-Dyna model versions for the Pre- and Post-Processing and Positioning (Pre and Fine) Modules in PIPER. They are not designed to be used with the Scaling or other Tools (Kriging, Contour, Shape or Param) modules.

Metadata for additional model versions will be added as they become available. If the version you are interested in is not yet listed on the form, please continue to check back for availability.
